HD LANDISK 160GB 買ってきちゃいましたー(浮かれすぎ)
舌の根も乾かぬうちに…… (^^;

取り敢えず telnetd を設置するあたりまでやってみました。
最大の難所は筐体を開ける事で、次が IDE ケーブルを外すところですね。(コネクタが堅くてケーブルが外せないのですよ)

/boot に zImage が居ます(おおっ)。
で、lilo で起動しているのですが、lilo 自体がどこにいるかは不明です。flush memory が張り付いているのでその中でしょうけど。
lilo が固定なので、起動時 / が readonly で mount されるあたりが修正できません。システムをいじるには / を rw で remount する必要があります。

zImage が差し換え可能だとしたら、ひょっとして夢であった sound module 付きカーネルがインストールできますかね? で、USB スピーカーを付けて音を出すと。
I/O が USB しか無いといっても、USB 機器が全て利用できたらかなり面白いと思っているのですよ。

ちなみに、設定用 httpd は apache でした。
もちょっといじったら纏めて Wiki の方に載せましょかね。何時になるかはわからないけど。

はじめまして。

おお IO も LinuxBox 化できるんですね。
LinkStation は修理中なので、欲しくなってしまった。
やはりカーネルは HDD 上には無く、FlashROM に入って
いるんでしょうか?

Logitec のは NAS というよりも SAN ですね。
PC からはドライブに見えるようです。(要ドライバ)

おー HDL-120U でもいけましたか!!
これで安心して(?)買えますねっ。
正直 BUFFALO はプロテクトの件で私内評価大暴落なので、こっちに期待したい、たい、たい。

SH7751R は SH-4 コアですか、今時はこういう組み込み用コントローラでも当たり前の様に FPU が載っているんだなあ。

wizd だけでも需要はあるだろうし。

それと気になっていたのですけれども、Logitec の廉価型NAS がUSB2.0接続もできる両用タイプなのです。

両用自体はともかく、USBで接続した場合 "NTFS" でマウントされるとあります。Linux 以外で動いていたりするのかなあ。

I/OデータのLAN接続HDDでも同様の手順でLinuxBox化できました。
ただし、telnetdはSH4用バイナリを使います。
たぶん、元(embedix)がおんなじなんでしょうね。
